Free Tree Society Kuala Lumpur is an environmental organization that spreads the message of environmental stewardship by distributing free trees to make our Earth greener. Since 2013, it has distributed over 42,277 plants to homeowners, schools, marginalized groups, community gardens and natural habitats, to increase planting, encourage biodiversity and promote a love of nature.
As part of environmental management and awareness-raising, waste management, rainwater harvesting, gardening and biodiversity are some of the topics regularly discussed with visitors and volunteers.
The organization also promotes the implementation of United Nations instruments and global objectives on the environment, sustainable development, climate change and responsible consumption and production.
